- Everybody should have a t-shirt with them to wear underneath the elf shirt.
- You can bring your own red pants/leggings/skirt and tights, or wear the red elf pants that go with the costume.
- Everybody can wear their own elf hat if they wish. Girls can also wear a red ribbon in  their hair, boys comb their hair and so on...

10.45: we'll go to the stage, since we're the first to perform

Loppuviikon aikataulu / This week's schedule

Hei kaikki,

tässä olisi loppuviikolle aikataulua kaikille 2E:läisille:

- Keskiviikkoon asti noudatamme normaalia lukujärjestystä (ainakin ajallisesti). Osa oppitunneista korvataan esityksen harjoittelulla. Keskiviikkona-torstaina katsomme myös BBC:n version Narnia - Velho ja leijona elokuvasta (sallittu kaiken ikäisille)

- Torstaina koulua klo 9-13. Ohjelmassa on harjoittelun ja Narnian lisäksi mm. englantia (englannin vihko mukaan) ja suomea (käsialavihko). Koululla on joululaulajaiset klo 12.15-13. Koulupäivä päättyy tähän.

- Perjantaina koulua on klo 8-12. Päivä alkaa joulujuhlan kenraaliharjoituksilla klo 8.00, olkaa siis ajoissa.

- Lauantaina lasten olisi hyvä tulla koululle omaan luokkaan klo 10.15, jossa vaihdamme esiintymisvaatteet. Joulujuhla alkaa klo 11. Joulujuhlan jälkeen menemme heti syömään puurolounaan, jonka jälkeen vaihdamme vaatteet luokassa ja toivotamme hyvät joulut. Kello on tällöin noin 12.30.

Kiitän syksyn yhteistyöstä ja toivotan oikein ihanaa ja rauhallista joulua itse kullekin!

Dear all,

here's 2E's schedule for the rest of the week, before the Christmas holidays:

- Until Wednesday we'll follow our regular timetable. Some lessons will be used for rehearsing for the show. On Wednesday and Thursday we'll also watch the BBC version of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (no age limit).

- On Thursday we'll have school from 9am to 1pm. In addition to rehearsals and Narnia, we will have English and Finnish. From 12.15 to 1 the whole school will sing christmas carols in the gym.

- On Friday we'll have shool from 8 to 12. The day starts with the dress rehearsals of the Christmas show.

- On Saturday the children should come to school and to our class room at 10.15. The Christmas show begins at 11 o'clock. After the show we'll have a porridge lunch first, followed by changing back into own clothes in the classroom and wishing mery Christmas all together.

I'd like to thank you for this Fall's cooperation and wish you a peaceful, joyful Christmas!

we celebrate independence day on the 5th of December in school. The school day lasts from 8am to 1pm as usual, but the program differs from our normal.

Thursday 5th of December

8.00 Gathering in classrooms
8.10-10.00 Film: Suomisen perhe (in the gym, whole school attends)
10.00 Lunch (something a bit fancier than regular school lunch)
10.30-11.00 EN spelling
11.15-12.00 Art
12.00-13.00 Independence day festivities in the gym (including "Maamme", a speech, a show and some dancing)

Just like last year, students are encouraged to dress for the occasion and wear indoor shoes.
